What To Bring
Your confirmation will include class-specific instructions. These are the basic items most students should plan for.
Valid Photo ID
Bring a current government-issued photo ID for check-in and any applicable LTC paperwork.
Closed-Toe Shoes
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for classroom and indoor range training.
Required Ammunition
Your confirmation will state the required ammunition quantity and any ammunition restrictions for the range.
Eye And Ear Protection
Protective equipment is required on the range. Availability details will be included with your registration.
Rentals Available
You do not have to own a handgun to begin learning. Contact us before class when a rental is needed.

Do I need previous handgun experience?
No. This class is designed for beginners and first-time shooters. Instruction begins with safety and basic handgun operation before moving to the range.
What does LTC stand for?
LTC stands for License To Carry A Handgun. It is the commonly used name for the Texas handgun license.
Do I have to add the LTC option?
No. The LTC path is optional. You may register for the beginner handgun class without adding the online LTC course or proficiency test.
Can I complete the LTC shooting test during the same visit?
Yes, when you select the LTC option, complete the online course before class and meet all applicable requirements.
What should I bring?
Bring a valid photo ID and wear closed-toe shoes. Additional instructions regarding handguns, ammunition, rentals and protective equipment will be included in your confirmation.
Do I need to own a handgun?
No. Students who do not own a suitable handgun may contact us about rental availability before the class date.

Classes are held in the Houston area at the location listed with the available class date. Your confirmation will include the exact address, arrival instructions and range requirements.
