This policy applies to all online courses, LTC shooting proficiency tests, Beginner Handgun Training classes, Ladies Night at the Range events, private training sessions, and any other in-person training or scheduled event offered through TexasGunLicense.net.

We offer a 100% refund of your course fee if your Texas License to Carry application is denied solely due to an error or deficiency in the educational content of our course.

To qualify for this refund:

• You must provide official documentation from the Texas Department of Public Safety clearly stating that your application was denied specifically because of our course content.
• The refund request must be submitted within 30 days of the denial notice.
• The denial must be directly related to the instructional content provided by TexasGunLicense.net.

Cancellations, Weather, and Rescheduling

24-Hour Cancellation Window

Customers may cancel a scheduled Beginner Handgun Training class, Ladies Night at the Range event, shooting proficiency test, or other in-person training session for a refund only if written notice is provided at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Rain, weather concerns, traffic, personal schedule changes, or other personal circumstances do not automatically qualify for a refund.

Future Class Credit

If a customer is not eligible for a refund but provides notice, TexasGunLicense.net may allow the funds paid to be applied toward a future class, event, or training date. Future class credits are not cash refunds and have no cash value.

• Future class credits may only be used for a future available date offered by TexasGunLicense.net.
• Future class dates are subject to instructor availability, range availability, and class scheduling.
• TexasGunLicense.net is not required to create a special class date solely for a customer who cancels.
• Failure to attend the future rescheduled date may result in forfeiture of the credit.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for any of the following reasons:

• Failure to complete the online course.
• Failure to submit your LTC application to the Texas DPS.
• Failure to pass the Shooting Proficiency Test or live-fire qualification.
• Failure to pass the online course after the allowed number of attempts.
• Failure to attend your scheduled appointment, class, event, or training session.
• Failure to reschedule within the required cancellation window.
• Late arrival that prevents participation or completion of the class, event, or shooting test.
• Denials related to criminal history, background check issues, fingerprints, application errors, eligibility issues, or any other reason not directly related to the instructional content of our course.
• Change of mind, scheduling conflicts, weather concerns, rain, transportation issues, childcare issues, or personal circumstances.
• Failure to bring required items, including but not limited to driver’s license, handgun, ammunition, online course certificate, or any other required documents or equipment.

Shooting Proficiency Tests & In-Person Training

Fees for Shooting Proficiency Tests, Beginner Handgun Training, Ladies Night at the Range events, private training, and other in-person instruction are non-refundable if canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Missed appointments, no-shows, late arrivals, and same-day cancellations are considered forfeited unless TexasGunLicense.net chooses, at its discretion, to apply the payment toward a future available class or event date.

Range Fees, Rentals, and Ammunition

Range fees, firearm rentals, ammunition purchases, targets, and any other third-party charges paid directly to a range or vendor are separate from TexasGunLicense.net course fees and are not controlled by TexasGunLicense.net.

TexasGunLicense.net is not responsible for refunding any fees paid directly to a range, vendor, or third party.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact TexasGunLicense.net directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting TexasGunLicense.net to resolve the issue may result in suspension of course access, cancellation of scheduled services, and termination of any remaining services.

By registering, purchasing, or submitting payment for any course, class, event, shooting proficiency test, or training service through TexasGunLicense.net, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
