LTC Beginner Training Package
Learn to shoot safely and confidently, then complete your official Texas LTC Shooting Proficiency Test in one visit. This package is built for students who already finished the LTC class (with us or another provider) but still need hands-on training and the shooting test.
How This Beginner LTC Package Works
This page is for students who already completed their Texas License to Carry (LTC) class, whether with TexasGunLicense.net or another provider, and now need both beginner handgun training and the LTC shooting test.
We start with beginner-focused instruction: safety, stance, grip, sights, trigger control, and live-fire practice so you feel comfortable and confident before the test.
Once you’re ready, you’ll complete the official Texas LTC Shooting Proficiency Test. Pass the test and your LTC-104 certificate will be signed and ready to upload to DPS.

Need a Little Extra Clarity?
No. This package is built for beginners and nervous shooters. We start with fundamentals, at your pace, before the LTC test.
That’s completely fine. As long as you have your LTC-104 (or will receive it after your class), we can handle your training and shooting test.
Most students finish the beginner training and LTC shooting test in about 60–90 minutes, depending on comfort level and experience.
If you need to change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. In most cases, 24+ hours notice allows you to reschedule without an additional fee.
