How to Get Your Texas License to Carry (LTC)
Step 1: Apply Online
Visit the official DPS website to apply for your LTC license. This can be done before or after your shooting proficiency test.

Step 2: Upload Your Certificate
After completing your shooting proficiency test, upload your LTC-104 Certificate to DPS using the official link below.
Step 3: Schedule Fingerprinting
Schedule your fingerprint appointment through Identogo. You must complete this step after applying through DPS.
