Texas License to Carry Class
The Texas License to Carry a Handgun Class (LTC) is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to legally carry a handgun in Texas.
This comprehensive course covers essential topics including Texas gun laws, use of force, handgun safety, and proper storage.
The class includes both classroom instruction and a live-fire shooting qualification. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive the certification required to apply for your Texas License to Carry.
Whether you’re a new or experienced shooter, this class ensures you’re equipped to carry responsibly and confidently.

- Classroom Training is 4-6 Hours Long

Module 1

SHOOTING PORTION
EXEMPT FROM THE SHOOTING PORTION
Some individuals are automatically exempt from the range/shooting requirement of the Texas LTC class. If you qualify, all you need to do is complete our Online Texas License to Carry Class — and you’re done!
✅ Exemptions Include:
- Texas State Correctional Officers (COs)
- Active Duty Military or Veterans with firearm training or shooting scores within the last 10 years
- County Jailers with firearms training through employment
