 Texas License to Carry Shooting Proficiency Test
Prepare for your Texas License to Carry (LTC) with our comprehensive Shooting Proficiency Test, designed to ensure you meet the state’s requirements while enhancing your skills.
**Duration:** The test takes approximately **1 hour** to complete.
**Requirements:** Each participant must bring the following:
– **1 unloaded handgun**
– **50 rounds of ammunition**
– **Driver’s license or state ID**
**Provided Gear:** We will supply ear and eye protection, as well as **1 B-27 target** for your shooting assessment.
**Shooting Details:** The proficiency test will be conducted from the ready position, with no holster drawing required. Participants will complete the following shooting drills:
– **20 rounds from 3 yards**
– **20 rounds from 7 yards**
– **10 rounds from 15 yards**
**Prerequisites:** It is essential that each participant has a basic understanding of how to operate their firearm prior to beginning the test.
Upon successful completion, the instructor will sign **Part B and Part C of the LTC-104 certificate**, certifying your proficiency.
